- Loss and Damages Fund
The operationalization of a fund to help countries hit by climate catastrophes
- Assessment
The publication of an assessment of the world’s progress in mitigating climate change
- Funding
Significant funding to support climate action projects
- Net-Zero Transition Charter
The launch of a charter encouraging organizations to make public net-zero emissions pledges and targets
- Breakthrough Agenda
An agreement between advanced and emerging economies to boost low-carbon industrial products
- Food systems declaration
A declaration signed by 134 countries to tackle the climate impacts of the food industry
- Pledges$700 million pledged for the Loss and Damage Fund, and $186.6 million pledged to protect and enhance nature
There were important achievements in the UAE Consensus such as agreement among all parties to end deforestation by 2030, a recognition that climate change cannot be addressed without protecting nature and biodiversity, and an urgent call to align existing international climate and nature policies and conventions.
