To improve the quality of livelihood of populations depending on the Lake Tanganyika and to protect the ecological integrity of the lake basin.

Reduced poverty in the Lake Tanganyika Basin (LTB), by inducing sustainable economic growth in an inclusive manner.

Intermediate Objectives

Increase in the area of degraded landscape rehabilitated and under sustainable land and water management practices.
Established market linkage and value chain of production.
Improved access to social infrastructure and diversified economic activities.
Protected ecological integrity of the Lake Tanganyika Basin.
